Launching this fall, a collaborative effort to reduce bike theft by 50%. " I Like My Bike.org” will be working throughout the community to register bikes, for free. The City of Davis, Davis Police Department, Bike Davis, The Bike Campaign and UCD TAPS are putting together an easy to use on-line registration process and promoting it to everyone in Davis that owns a bike to ensure that stolen property is reported and bike theft thwarted.
Bike registration is required at UCD. Apartment complexes, schools, and the Farmer’s Market will be targeted for easy on-line registration. Protect your property and prevent bike theft by registering your bike.
