Loopalooza returns after arrest of serial killer suspect

Writer: Aaron WedraAaron Wedra

Loopalooza community bike ride returns to Davis, days after arrest of serial killer suspect.

Maria, founder of The Bike Campaign, comments "Bikes equal joy." We want to encourage people to really just be a part of how nice it is outside today, and how thankful we all can be that we can still ride a bike, and enjoy each other's company no matter what the heck is going on. Somewhere in the world every moment there is something scary. But we can just come together and ride our bikes, and it makes people smile."

"What's going to keep us safe and healthy in the end is our relationship and our connection to each other. And that's what we do when we're on bikes. You rarely see somebody on a bike that's not smiling."
