Bike Skills Training
We believe that all children deserve to have the opportunity to learn how to ride a bicycle. We work closely with school districts to provide on-bike, in-school training for all age levels.
How it works
Our volunteer trainers bring a fleet of bikes and helmets to elementary schools in Davis and Woodland. Second graders learn to ride; older kids learn the rules of the road and how to use a bike as reliable transportation. We train UC Davis students too!
- On-bike, in-school training
- All age levels, kindergarten through 6th grade
- Two-year fleets of custom-designed bikes
- Helmets fitted for every rider
- Volunteer trainers — training provided

Balance bikes for kindergarteners
We provide school districts with the All Kids Bike balance bike program for kindergarteners, so the youngest riders build balance and confidence before they ever need pedals.
